Kirkcaldy Golf Course is known locally as Balwearie and is set in 150 acres of a beautiful, rolling piece of Fife countryside.
One of the many features is a traditional Scottish burn which meanders it’s way by five holes throughout the course.
"The 1st hole, with the drive across the burn is a challenge for any
player, then it's very own "Amen Corner" round the 6, 7, & 8th holes,
where a good round can be made or lost, and finally, in the homeward
straight, the par 5 17th gives that special thrill of "should I
shouldn't I?" when contemplating carrying the burn in two from the top
of the hill."
